Some Go Haunting is an L.A. duo comprised of Aria Pullman and Jason Rivera. Earlier this year they came together to craft a full-length album called Wandering Souls, their latest album release since their self-titled debut EP in 2012. Their latest single, ‘Kids of Summer’ was released at the height of summer and features the duo collaborating with Black Knights, a group associated with the Wu-Tang Clan. Between the two vastly different styles of music, flows a dreamy and pop-infused song that speaks to long summer days and even longer nights. Behind a synthed-out production, the entire experience is designed to make you harken back to younger days.

With Pullman singing the melodic hook, the Black Knights spit a flow reminiscing about trials and tribulations faced in summers past. The song evokes feelings of nostalgia; looking back to simpler times, when life was filled with smaller problems and greater fun. When you could follow your wishes and still be home before the street lights came on. A time long gone, in the age of ever-present technology and danger seemingly lurking behind every street corner in a terrified society.
