I love the music from the 60’s and 70’s; its rawness has an innate ‘humanness’ to it, which I find lacking in a lot of today’s pop music. Wesley Fuller harks back to that golden era of music while bringing a fresh, current sound to his new melodic track “Melvista”. It’s immediately catchy, filled with superb harmonies and melody, fun hand claps and jangly tambourine – a  great sonic combo of The Beach Boys and a futuristic sounding Elvis Costello. From his press release on the track: Fuller captures the intensity of a crush: an affair full of strange and novel experiences set to a backdrop of unabashed alt-pop.

Just signed to 1965 Records, I look forward to hearing more from this budding artist from Down Under.
